The field team is made up of fourteen Comorian technicians and facilitators, and seven expatriates. The project is supported by a senior management team made up of staff from Bristol Conservation and Science Foundation and Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust. Technical support is provided by Agronomes et Vétérinaires Sans Frontières’ regional office in Madagascar, and from consultants from the International Union for the Conservation of Nature and Cranfield University.

The project’s work is greatly aided by volunteers and students. We have supported both Comorian and international students to complete research projects with us and have hosted long-term volunteers who support the team on particular aspects of the work. We have also greatly benefitted from linking up with volunteer translators through the Translations for Progress network. If you would like to find out more about volunteering or research opportunities with the project, please get in touch.
